Well i installed the Carli track bar today and used the 2.5 inch spacer and bottomed out the Heim on the axle side but the axle still needs to move over another 3/4-1 inch to the drivers side , what can i do to fix the issue? I have the King Coilovers set to 2.5 inches.
This is a known issue with the Carli bar, I believe they are making a new one, but really....nothing you can do with the one you have. Unless you are feeling randy and want to start hacking **** up.
Well this sucks,if its a known issue why has it not been addressed. I guess i chuck it up and mill off about an inch but i doubt its threaded that far in. I guess ill just ****can it and try a PMF, tha'ts kinda sad $450 wasted on a high end part from a known maker and they cant fix the problem.
Not to bash, but these are the same people who have can't tell you what their 2.5 leveling coil will do on a gas truck. You'd think with as much R&D they do they'd at least have a guess. But they won't even give you that. I've heard nothing but good things about Carli, and I sure they make mostly fine products, but they really need to work on their customer relations...
I have the same bar with their pintop level and I actually need to take mine off and lengthen it as is currently sits about a quarter inch more out the drivers side. I’m curious wanna measure the bar, not to the heim just the bar end to end and let see if it’s a truck thing or bar difference? Mine is 36 3/4

Did you get it from Carli directly? Theyve know about it for a while, I would suspect they'd at least tell you about a possible issue.

Call Carli directly. They told me they have heard about this issue but have never been able to reproduce it. They would like someone with the issue to call in and work through the problem, but nobody has, seems nobody wants to do this. Let us know what the solution is if you are willing to work through it with them.
I called them and told them id just mill of about an inch and they said that's the best thing i could do, then called back after doing so then they told me the wrong size i needed to retap the end as the threads where not deep enough. I thinks its a solid part but ill never do business with them again since they cant fix a simple issue,IMO it is total BS to hack up a $450 part to make it fit.

sorry to hear of the bad experience. I will need to do the same. CN you tell me what the correct tap size was?
