Newbie here trying to figure out a weird power gremlin. Recently bought a 2017 F250 platinum with 29,000 miles. Everything has been working fine. 3 days ago I did a remote start in the morning and the SYNC 3 screen was blank. Turned the truck off then back on and nothing. Ran about an hour to my appointment and after that restart SYNC 3 came back up and everything was working. Got in the truck yesterday and tried to open the slider for the panoramic sunroof and the switch does nothing. The switches for the courtesy lights also do nothing. The only switch on the overhead console that works is the rear window slider. The upfitter switch that is connected to auxiliary lights does work.
Checked fuses in interior fuse box related to O/H (23, 27 and 36) All good.
I "thought" the lane keep assist was not working yesterday as well (assumed may be related because the camera is up there) but this morning lane keep is giving me the steering wheel shake but still no buttons working up there.
If all fuses are good, and some of the functions in your console still work, it is possible one of the connectors above the console is not seated completely. There are multiple connectors feeding it, depending on options. Console is removed by pulling down, starting at the back edge. I believe 6 clips hold it up.
Stopped by the dealer at lunch. I'm heading out of State for a month long vacation up the east coast and they said they would need it for a couple days. Said they would likely replace the upper console. Noticed that the rear interior lights over the rear doors do not come on either, with door open or local switch. Have to leave Sunday so I'll look for a dealer at the next stop, North Carolina.
I pulled the console down and removed and re-seated the 4 plugs with no improvement. Upfitter switches and rear window are separate plugs.
Has anyone had this problem below?
I saw the below thread, and I’m having the same problem. No post was posted on the solution.

Sounds like what I experienced. Bad board, easy to replace. Mine happened 6 months into ownership but I didn’t have any interest in it sitting at a dealer for a week so I bought a used one....
I appreciate it.
Odd thing is, my interior front lights will flicker, and the rears will come on then go back off once I start the truck. After they go off they will not come back on. Occasionally the fronts will do the flickering thing and the rears will come back on again. But, the moonroof/sunroof will not open no matter what. I can’t understand why it will occasionally flicker on and off...

Did you find a resolution to this? I’m having the same issue to a t in my 2016 F150 Lariat.
