So here's the deal, i'm looking to install a choke cable that i purchased from LMC because the auto choke just sucks to use, now i have looked but I haven't been able to get a straight answer to the question of whether or not a choke cable can be installed on this particular carburetor, pictures of it found below.

It looks like your carb needs rebuilt anyway. Why not get a Dent 2150 electric 12v choke for it, and be done with it. IIRC the manual choke equipped carbs used a different linkage to connect to the choke. JC Whitney used to or still does make a manual choke kit for it.
DORMAN make an adaptor kit that's universal. It includes a black cap that replaces your existing electric unit. This can be bought in any bog box parts store. They may have to order it but they can get it. Use their kit and your cable.
