How to Remove Inside Door Handles

Hi Alex,
They can be a bugger, huh?
The handles are held on by a small rolled steel pin. You have to push back the spring-loaded silver trim ring to reveal the hole and pin. The hole goes right through so I'm pretty sure you can knock it out from either direction. Some handles have black rubber trim rings, the procedure is the same.
I found that a small drill bit and a jewelry hammer will work to gently tap the pin out. Put the WD-40 to it if possible first.
Hope this helps, Tom
