Had to throw my truck into 4x4 today and noticed that it was still only spinning the rear tires. So naturally after owning one of these trucks before I figured the auto hubs weren't working. So I jumped out to lock them manually and noticed that they are warns. My old 01 SD had warn hubs, but that was because I installed them. I'm assuming that my current 14 SD should have the automatic hubs, but it appears that they have been changed to manual. A quick answer will suffice. Were Warn manual hubs put on the 11-16 models from the factory as an option (I wouldn't think so since most trucks have ESOF 4x4), or did someone already swap out the original auto locking hubs on mine for the Warn? Either way, I'm glad it has manual locking hubs, those auto locking ones suck.
Mine is a 2014. I haven't had it that long( about 4 months). But it definitely has Warn manual locking hubs. I guess someone already had them installed since they auto locking ones were such junk. Changing the hubs to Warn was on my to do list, but I guess I can scratch that off now.
I have a 2012 F-350 that was ordered with manual hubs - however I do not believe they are WARN hubs. My guess is that your hubs have been replaced at some point.
They have, I just looked on Warn's site, and the hubs that are on my truck are the exact ones that they are selling. They must not be very old though. From what I can tell from the site Warn hasn't been selling these very long.
