Most folks seem to be upgrading to LED bulbs in their halogen housings. You'll find from doing a basic search that it's pretty straightforward to replace bulbs. Remove the washer fluid filler neck or the grill and access is gained.
Personally, I'm not interested in the LED replacements. Up in New England, we get too much snow and freezing weather - halogens melt the snow wonderfully. I had Silverstar ultras in my old truck and they were great. I'd be interested in a HALOGEN ONLY upgrade, if there was one to be had.
Those look great... im in new elgland as well, and i do like the ice melting qualities. I guess silverstsrs are prob the way to go for thst
I have spent some cold winters in Rhody... Haven't had the Beamtech long enough to test it in these harsh Nashville winters...they do have a built in cooling fan, so they must generate some heat

Just finished the upgrade this week.
Had 900km and the stock yellow had to go. Bought some LED's off Amazon and not only did they not want to go into the sockets one broke off 2 out of the three tabs inside the housing!!! Oh what fun getting them out!
I sent those back and ordered these what a difference!

Better bulb and better heat sink as there are no fans to fail.
Passenger side was easy took off the snorkel and good to go. Driver side was not so lucky...had to lover the bumper and take out the whole light as the upper bulb was in the housing so hard I had to use a pair of pliers to turn it out!!!!

Total about 30 minutes so no big deal
I undid front of passenger side wheel well liner and folded it back out of the way to get to that side
