Keep us informed of the outcome... I just bought a truck with these. I'm really going to have to learn how to install the PPF. I can't afford the fortune it cost to cover what I want covered.
I just had mine replaced under warranty on my 17. I think they are around $1500 each.
While it is good that Ford ponied up and replaced them under warranty, the issue I have with this approach is they replace them (usually) with the same faulty part, so in 2 years, we're back to square 1 with the same issue. I tend to keep vehicles long term, so this matters more to me.
My headlights are good on my 17, but i noticed yesterday that the marker lights on my side view mirrors are starting to crack..... im still under B2B, so i guess ive got to take her in so they can tear up my mirrors trying to replace them :-/
My dealer just replaced mine. It was a "fight", said the service writer. Ford didn't want to at first because they haven't seen this in other trucks. Ha, Ha, Ford.

Ford didn't want to because they know this is a problem that will show up on many thousands of these trucks. If something can be put off until the truck is out of warranty or the owner trades it, then more money for them.
Wow, and I was debating replacing my 2019 Halogen housings with the Factory LED ones and Factory LED taillights.
Just out of curiosity and not that it should matter one bit, but do the trucks with the cracking lens' sit facing the Sun all day long? I only ask as I can recall how some other manufactures composite headlights would look like they were starting to crack and in allot of cases they would get all 'Sun faded'.
I recall reading somewhere that the headlights were made with a UV protective material for just that protection against cracking and fading.
I just had Paint protection film installed on my head lights , Their was another tread about this on here .I do not now how much it will help with cracking but it helps a lot with rocks and bugs . Had it on my raptors headlights and they took a beating and were good when i sold it with 85k miles .

Mine gets driven a lot, but is garaged nightly. It also usually sits facing north at work, so not really much direct sunlight. Mine are still a mess.
I bought a F350 6.7 LB Platinum new in '18, and my headlights look worse than the above photos. Found this thread, so I took it to the dealer and they said it is considered "trim" and is excluded from warranty. And yes I have a ESP from Flood Ford, thanks to FTE!, any advice how to move forward with a fix would be greatly appreciated. If they get much worse I think it could become a safety issue. I thought about ordering a '22, but I am going to hold out and see if the '23 MY will be a significant refresh. Thanks in advance for any help!
