Pulling the trigger, can't find a '17 or '18 the way I want it. Working on ordering a '19, best so far is $500 under invoice, then $299 Doc fee for a real $201 under invoice. Enough? I don't think so. What do you guys think?
I bought my 2018 through Costco's auto program and saved a TON. Out the door with all fees and taxes was still $3k under MSRP alone
Out the door with all fees and taxes on my 2017 King Ranch was $5K under MSRP at the dealer. The only price haggling was over my trade-in's value and I wound up getting what I wanted for it.
I ordered my 2019 for $100 over invoice-holdbacks. You can do way better than where you are at. Koons in Baltimore has best prices in the nation. Check my posts explaining this process.
Anything at or below invoice is a good deal as long as you are getting rebates on top of that.
Yes, I agree, but no incentives on '19s. That's the only reason I haven't ordered yet, thinking an '18 to my liking would show up somewhere within 200 miles, no such luck.
The dealer I worked with let me "lock-in" the 2018 rebates that were available at the time of my 2019 Special Order, to include the PCO. I am very happy with the deal I ended up with, going through the Costco Auto Program. I am currently deployed and in less than 4 emails, I was able to sign on the deal below.
2019 F350 Platinum, CCLB, 6.7L, Ultimate Package and lots of add-ons.
MSRP: $81,295
Invoice: $76,529
The no-haggle Costco Offer: $1,800 off of invoice. Added rebates I was allowed to lock-in; $2,000 PCO, $1,500 Financing Rebate (will re-finance with Credit Union), and $750 Military Rebate.
Total Out the Door: $70,749 (13.3% off of MSRP) (No Sales Tax in AK and Title/Registration is $130)
We managed 1.75% MSRP below invoice, then a $2,000 PCO, then a $500 rebate. 7 if 8 dealers we shopped this to told us to go home. The 8th got two truck orders.

good luck getting the PCO to actually come through
PCOs can be locked in on new orders placed when the PCO is issued so he should have no problem. What cant be done is 2018 rebates locked on a 2019.
I gave my dealer my $3k pco when we agreed on a price and gave my deposit for a 2019. This was 3 weeks ago. They are a small dealer and he seems confused as to how to apply it. He said he can't apply it because it is an '18 pco. I corrected him and he said he would call ford yesterday but I havent heard back yet. Can someone tell me how their dealer was able to lock it in so I can relay to my dealer? Supposedly the dealer has 0 allocations on 2019s and I am #1 in line, but my order has not been placed yet. If they don't get one by next week, I'm probably going to have to try another dealer to ensure I get this $3k pco. My current deal gets some of their holdback, but I qualify for xplan, so going to another dealer with an allocation and getting the $3k pco is a better deal if they can't figure out how to apply the $3k. Thanks.
We ran into the same issue with a smaller dealer. The question was not if the PCO could be locked in, but if it applied to 2019 model years or not. Whatever the fine print on your PCO, there is a ford system description of the PCO that does not yet have 2019’s, according to both the small and large dealer we dealt with.
The small dealer we worked with had no way to confirm Ford would be updating the PCO to apply to next model year. They couldn’t commit to it.
went to a larger dealer and that dealer had better internal contacts at ford that made them comfortable committing to the PCO in the sales contract.

Another vote for the Costco program on our '18 F350 Platinum...were able to add $2K PCO and an additional $1K in rebates/incentives. We had used Costco's program before and it has been a consistently good experience.
