110V outlet issue

I tried using the outlet to charge my Ryobi 18V battery. It immediately causes a fault. The charger only pulls 85W. In manual it specifically states that’s what The outlet can be used for. Anything I need to do for it to work?

Search your issue. There are a couple of threads. Some chargers don’t like the power from the outlet. It not a true sync wave, it’s a modified square wave. See post 15.

I have the same issue. One charger works the other one blow it out. Both pull low loads well below the rates output . Just the way it is. I guess you could replace the inverter with a different unit if you are so inclined.

When I get home I’m going to Try the regular charger and see if that helps. I was trying the quick charger.
