Every couple of days I will put the car in reverse and I get a Black screen with message that says "Please Check surroundings for Safety"

If I turn the car off and turn it back on again the camera starts working fine.

I researched and found out that it could have something to do with using parking brake but I never use mine so that doesn't seem like my problem.

Any ideas?

 

I had something similar to that but it was a intermittent feed problem. Dealer took to local shop, turned out to be loose connection. Corrected before delivery to me and no further issues as of now.

 

 

Should I do this when I am having the issue or just whenever? After you did this you never got the black screen again?
