lh primary crash sensor
Hi Guys
The air bag light on my 05 f150 is flashing code 42 which i have found thanks to the resources here means that I have an open circuit on my lh primary crash sensor. My questions to you guys are.
Any idea where that sensor is located?
Real easy to replace or terrible?
and any ideas on things that I should be checking before I swap it out??
as always any help is greatly appreciated

I believe that code has to do with the front sensor which is located on the vertical bar in the front of the radiator. There's some history of these failing due to water getting into them. I had to replace mine along with the plug on my '04 due to water damage. The light reset itself after the sensor was replaced.
