1967 F250 4WD. Having a little trouble understanding whether or not I have a Dana 44 or 60. It's closed knuckle. The bolts around the differential are 1/2 (I read somewhere that if it's 9/16, it's a Dana 60. The center area for the locking hubs if definitely bigger than a beer/coke can. Closer to a Folgers can.
Looking for help on recommended locking hubs for my front differential. Second to this, looking for break hubs that got the front as well. A source would be great.
12 bolts mean a D44HD, not the D446CF light duty. You have the heavier axle available till the Dana 60 came available I think in 74 as a closed knuckle axle. In 76 it became an open knuckle axle with disc brakes.
