Hey there friends! I am new to the website and just picked up a '71 f250! Truck is pretty rusted out underneath but nothing too bad, tires a dry rotted so new tires are in order. Just introducing myself. I am not sure how to resize the image so sorry that it is so big.
Welcome! I own an F250 too! Although, mine is no longer a truck worthy of the title, as it's SWB and CV swapped. But, it's still cool and isn't meant for work. Yours looks like a LWB 4x4, so it's super cool!
The rust underneath is where I would start repairing things. Everything after that you can take it as it comes. Do you have more pics? I would love to pour through them.
Thanks everybody! Yea I will get more pics uploaded soon. It’s a 360 with a 4 speed manual. Yea first thing is to deal with the rust and get a protective coat on the frame. Then new tires. After that probably paint and bed liner. Forgot to mention it also has an older Holley fuel injection in it.

Looks like a 1971 Grill with custom inserts... and that bed looks like it's from a 1967... since the doors don't look original, I'd say you've got a truck that's been put together from several different trucks (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
I'd be curious to know if it was totaled at some point, then restored.
Do yourself a big favor and measure the distance from center-to-center on the right wheels, then compare that measurement to the center-to-center distance on the left wheels. If they aren't the same, you may be unable to accurately align the front end, and be in for constant tire wear, unless you rebuild the suspension. If the difference is due to a bent frame, you may never be able to compensate for it.
Being that as it may, and I hope the frame is straight, you have something here that you can run, and run, and run... you may be able to run it for another half million miles, if you take care of it.
Best of luck with it.
Thank you! i measured the distances between the wheels and it seemed to be the same which is good! Just ordered some new wheels and tires, will post pictures when I get them on. The steering setup was rubbing the tires when I turned all the way to the right so we got new black steel wheels that have 3.5" backspacing which should help (the current wheels have 5.5" backspacing. And the tires are going to be 35x12.5 Federal Couragia mt's. The tires look pretty good in these pictures but they have some serious dry rot going on.

Good to hear that the center-to-center distances match, that should be reassuring (at least on one score).
Looks like you snagged yourself a workhorse.
I ran into WILLTHEYFIT site which give you a really great way to compare tires actually overlays 2 different size tires/wheels and shows you an image of how they will fit on the axle. WILL THEY FIT TIRE SITE
