Truck is a 2018 F350 Lariat with the Lariat Ultimate package. I am sure this is a setting somewhere. I have been thru the menus in the truck and have also looked thru the Owners Manual, no luck. My drivers door window will stop several times on the way down and do the same going back up. This does not appear to be random but pre set intervals. Even pressing the window switch past the detent which should open or close the window fully has the same result. The other 3 door windows work normally. It a pain in the a** when paying tolls or just trying to open the window fully.
If someone knows how to change to a normal window operation it would greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks I tried both last night but was tired so I just went out and tried again. No Luck.
Takes 5 pushes of the switch to get the window fully down. 7 pulls of the switch to get the window fully up. The windows stops the exact place going down or up. Very strange? I will take back to dealer Monday if I can make the time. I'll report the fix in case someone else has the same problem.
Yes that's what I was told. The window motor needs to be unplugged while the window is on its way down. Strange way to reset but who cares its working now.
Wonder why you couldn't, just pull the fuse for the widow motor, while the window was on the way down?
With as electronically involved as all these new vehicles are, the fuse that the window motor operates on probably runs a host of other features as well. No need to disrupt a half dozen other circuits...
