I swapped my mirrors. Put door panels back on , noticed today that the pass window wont go up or down,
Get home from work, Open doors, window works sorta
IF my drivers door is open all the way,
the drivers door window switch will lower the front pass window but not raise it. All other switches work fine
If the drivers door is closed or partially closed the pass window switch wont work, nor does the drivers side window switch do anything for the front pass window...
I had this issue with the Wife's Silhouette - The driver's side control would roll the passenger window down, but not up. The passenger side control would not do anything. I replaced the passenger side switch and all was perfect again. That was a GM, but it could be the same issue.
We keep our vehicles outside and did not want to chance a break-in or rain getting in, so I used a spare battery (8.4v - from a remote control car) and a set of alligator clips to connect to the window motor connector. Directly connecting the power there and having the motor work up or down told me that the motor was perfectly fine.
This allowed me some time and the ability to roll up the window.

Not to be a wise guy, but did the window work before you replaced the mirrors? If so, then check the areas where you may have damaged some wires. If not, then FORD got you too. I just went through a similiar problem on my 2000 X. Passenger window down - no up all the time. The cause was an open wire. The easiest way to check is to access the switches on both doors. Get an OHM meter and a long extension wire for one of the leads and physically check each wire from the driver's door switch to its other end at the passenger switch for continuity. If you find an open wire, use a jumper wire between the terminals on the switches to see if it fixes the problem. If so, splice a wire in. You will not be able to get to the wires under the dash or door jams without tearing the dash out. I would use an OHM meter rather than a trouble light. A trouble light may let the smoke out of some small part that costs Big buck$. Good Luck!
BTW: How are things in the Region? Haven't been back there in a long while.
