I have a 1994 E150 Timeless conversion. There are 3 power door lock switches; driver, passenger, and at the rear door. I was refinishing all the wood work and had to take apart the rocker switch at the rear door. When I was reassembling the switch I accidentally crossed the contacts and made a spark.
After I got it all put back together, the driver and passenger door lock switches do not work, the remote entry fob won't operate the door locks, but the switch at the rear does work.
I wish I had an answer. I replaced the door on my 2006 and had a body shop rewire. Passenger door sometimes will not lock down until I press fob button a second time.
I hate to point out the obvious, but have you checked fuses? Another possibility: Often these power door lock switches will have diodes in their circuits, and you may have fried one.
Is this a custom job? Any chance of getting a wiring diagram?
