The passenger side rear power door lock is not getting power on my 97' F350 crew cab.
I replaced the power door lock bracket that had been broken for the last 5 years, I had just used the ****. Now of corse the door lock is not working, I checked the power lock actuator on a different door and it works perfect.
I checked the plug and it is dead, all the other door locks work properly.
Can anyone tell me where and connections for that part of the wiring harness are located to give me some places to test between for continuity?
Or is there a anything else that could have gone wrong????
There is a plug under the carpet/mat that goes out to the door at the bottom of the "B" pillar on the passengers side. If you don't have power there then I would say that it may be a door lock switch in the master switch in the drivers door, those you could also swap to verify proper operation.
Great, I will start there!
The door lock switch in the driver door operates all the other locks, are individual controls for each lock in that switch?
Thanks!
You guys were right on! No sooner do I get in the truck this morning then the lock works perfect and the window in the same door stops!!!
I moved the wiring between the door and the B pillar and they both start working and the fuse blows out.
Looks like I will be opening up the door wire loom and fixing some breaks.
