Parts interchange for 96 E350

So I have a 1996 E350 24 passenger bus, that we have had for 5-6 years. It had 24,000 miles on it when we bought it and it now has 70,000 miles on it. Power train wise we have never had an issue, but I live in Mi so rust is my enemy. Last year I rebuilt the sub frame under the bus portion of the unit and at that time I discovered the drivers floor pan was shot and we put a patch in. But floor patches dont stop the rust just the cold air that came threw them. Last friday my 1975 Bronco rolled into the front of the bus and well lets just say the E350 lost. It's drive able but not pretty. So I'm thinking about driving south west till I find a good donor body but my guess is most 96's have been scrapped so I was wondering if the newer vans were just a sheet metal refresh or all new. If the exterior sheet metal is all that changed it would be nice to find like a 2013 cab and swap it out. Or at least get the floor pan fenders and grill out of her. Can anyone tell me for sure if the next model can be used for parts? RB
