i know the question has been asked and answered, I just can’t find it.
Is there a left and right radius arm for the 73-79 disc brake front end?
Here’s why I ask, TIT snaked a curb in the green hornet and I took a front end apart and didn’t mark em.
1969 f100 with a 1979 f150 disc brake, standard cab, long bed. The original arms have a drop in them near where the arms attach at the frame. One of the f150 arms appear to have a drop and one does not appear to have the same drop.

Only the lower shock mounting brackets (bolt-on items) are side specific. The arms will work on either side though.
'65-'73 radius arms are forged steel. '74-79 are stamped steel. '74 stamped steel radius arms have no notch in the forward end for a factory '75-'79 front swaybar endlink bracket (but, the notch can be added to them). All '75-'79 radius arms have the notch in the forward ends of the brackets for the addition of a '75-'79 factory front swaybar.
When I actually get around to swapping my discs, I'm going to keep the early forged radius arms just for reasons like this. I do believe them to be stronger and there are times when I'm pretty rough on the old beast.
Yes, by design. I’m trying to figure out which side and orientation it goes on.
The open "U" shaped channel faces outwards. Those are at least '75 model arms, as denoted by the notches at the forward ends of the arms. The radius arm on the right side of the truck will have the notch oriented at the bottom. The notch on the left arm will be oriented at the top when it's installed.
