Radius arm bracket
I found a 1978 f250 2wd locally that has a broken driver side radius arm bracket. I'm considering buying the truck but haven't found the bracket on any sites I've looked at. Where can I order one of them? I did find an NOS part on eBay but they want $100 for it which seems rather high.

I looked already. All I saw was bushings and nuts. I don't think they have the bracket

D8TZ-3B095-D (replaced C5TZ-3B095-C & D3TZ-3B095-B) .. Left (drivers side) Radius Arm Bracket / Obsolete
1965/72 F100/250 2WD / 1973/78 F100/250 Regular Cab 2WD / 1974/78 F250 Super Cab 2WD
except w/8,100 lbs. GVWR
RED TAYLOR FORD in Corning AR has
1 = 870-857-3518.
NOS PARTS SOURCE in Olathe KS has
1 = 913-220-5746.
NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has
1 = 972-937-2201.
MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has
1 = 607-722-5371.
Note: Ford changed the brackets and the radius arms in 1979.
Both as a set can be used on 1965/78's, but not individually.

Any idea if one from a 80s truck will work?

No it will not, because 1980 and later is different than 1965/78, different than 1979.
The bracket used in 1979 will
only work on 1965/78's
if you also use the 1979 only radius arm.
Gee whiz, I already gave you the applications for the correct bracket and the sources that have it NOS

I know and thank-you for the information. I was just curious because I have a stripped 1982 frame and wanted to know if those brackets could be modified to work.
