Last licensed in 2001, been sitting a while. Kid pulled the carb off to rebuild it, the carb has been sitting on the front seat ever since. I may sell the front bumper and the warn 8274 to fund a replacement carb and fluids so I can maintain the zero dollars I have in it. If the trans and engine are good I'll rip the bed off and take it from there.

I would leave the bumper on, as that is your only selling point, and sell it as fast as possible. With the amount of time and money that you are going to be putting into that truck to just get it to a decent truck, you are going to be in the hole.

This truck looks much better than many of the projects on here. It's all there, hasn't been messed with, it is a 4x4. It's already a decent truck. Plus, it was free! I say it's a great starting point, and go for it!

Sell it as fast as possible? Why? Its not like its going to depreciate in value. I'm going to put a carb on it and see if it's a runner then take it from there. Whoever ends up with it in the end will be after the running gear and frame, not a bumper.

I put a battery in it and sprayed starter fluid directly in the intake. She started right up, sounded good. Not bad for sitting 17 years.

Well, I pulled the winch off and dumped the truck for $600. Took 15 minutes to sell after I placed an ad on craigslist.

Dang. That truck looked way better than the one I'm working on now. That truck would sell for twice that here in ohio. Bed looked good by my standards.
