I acquired all the pieces to mount the trim molding on my 79 F 250. It's just the upper section, no race track style. My question is can someone tell me the size holes I need to drill? I'm not concerned about the plastic clips, those i'll rivet. The holes I'm talking about are the holes for the nuts that go in the doors front and back and the bed/ fenders. I also need to drill the holes for the small pieces on the cab behind the doors. Any hole sizes would help greatly. Thanks

TWO different types of mouldings, TWO different types of clips:
Ranger with narrow upper body side anodized aluminum mouldings or Ranger XLT with wide anodized aluminum upper body side mouldings with black vinyl inserts?
The molding is the style with the rubber in the middle. Does anyone have a cab around that had the trim? I really need the hole size for the clip on the small curved piece behind the door. Amazing there is no info or write up on installing these on a truck that didn't have it.

Hello
I am looking for some info before I try something. So I am hoping someone with a short bed can help me out. I have a 74 short bed the we are do a full restoration on. It had the wide side molding with the black rubber. I was able find a supper clean set of long bed moldings for free with some other part I picked up for a local guy. Looking at how bed sections are put together. I should be able to pull the end piece off the end and cut the molding to the correct length for the short bed and put the end back on.
Can any you fellow short bed ours measure the the length of your bed molding section to where the end piece connects
1977 F100 shortbed - 70 inches from end of trim to joint - entire length is 81 3/8 inches when you add the parking lens trim piece - checked both sides since they are off the truck at this time.
