Factory trailer camera package

Anyone here have the factory camera package from Ford? I'm getting mine installed and wondering how people ran the wire. (Its a wired system from Ford). The Fifth wheel is prepped for a rear camera, but only has a power wire. Its a Grand Design Reflections 303rls.
Did they run your wires down the ladder then underneath the trailer? or is there a way to fish the wires through where the camera prep is on the trailer?

I have the camera package and did the install myself along with the TPMS receiver. Discount Tire installed the sensors in the wheels.

I ran the cable for the camera up the ladder at the front of the trailer and then along the middle of the roof from from vent to A/C to vent, tying it down with cable ties wherever possible. Then about 12" down the back of the trailer I mounted the camera. Because mine is a toy hauler it up quite high. The cargo door dictates where the camera can go.

My trailer body is 22', 25' 6" from coupler to rear bumper. I had plenty of cable and wound up the excess under the trailer.

I ran mine up from bumper with other 7pin wire thru pin box and under over hang and used self tapping screws with wire hooks along under trailer screwed to frame to back and up ladder. Went to Home Depot and got some swirl wrap and warped both cables coming downd from pin box, also swirl wrap wire up ladder and taped the ends. Worked great. Check out utube 2017 ford trailer camera & tpms install by Nichols Manufacturing & welding services. It was very helpful. Also I had extra wire I rolled up at top of ladder. Took maybe an hour.

My Crossroads has a wireless furrion system that works great for what it is.

no problems at 40’.

i don’t think I’d ever run a wired system after how easy the installation was and how well it works.

It sure makes towing double a lot less stressful.

I noticed in the video from Nichols Manufacturing & welding they show the plug for the camera in the bed of the truck... Does the new plug that comes with the kit fit in the factory hole in the bed? And does any rewiring of the camera harness have to be done from the bumper to the bed?
