tilt column swap

I've searched this section and read up on tilt column swaps. From what I understand, a 79 tilt wheel will bolt in and I need to mess with the wiring. I'm not too familiar with 79 trucks. Is the ignition on the column?

No, the wiring change is the Hazard lights.

They are integrated into the column.

Possibly the neutral safety switch.

It changed in 78 from the column (pre 78) to the transmission.

I have a manual tranny. So, there wouldn't be a neutral safety switch, right? Is the ignition switch integrated into the steering column? I read that someone had to turn on the hazard switch at the column and then hit the hazard switch at the glove box.
