05 Grill NEEDS 05 bumper?
I put the 05 headlights on my truck a while ago along with the 05 headboard. For Christmas I got the 05 grill but I dont have the bumper yet.
Yesterday I tried to put the grill on but the bumper is in the way. So, is the 05 bumper shaped differently than my 01 bumper? Or is something else misaligned?

Just a thought, IDK what your "funds" look like, but you can buy one that has been per-trimmed from you, MKM customs sell them for roughly $250ish shipped.
Chrome Ford Super Duty/Excursion Grille Conversion
IDK what a bumper goes for.... I figure the end cost will be similar unless you find a great deal on a bumper. Good luck.

Thanks guys. I already have grill, got it as a Christmas present. So now I need the bumper for the last pice of the conversion. Not sure when I will be up for buying it though.

This is a write-up for cutting down an '05 grille to fit a '99-'04 with a stock head panel and bumper. With some modification for attaching the bottom of the '05 grille it should work with the '05 head panel.
