My truck has a nav system but I love the waze app on my phone so much, I find little need for the truck navigation system. Waze maps always seem up to date. Waze tells me where the cops are and directs me around trouble spots ahead. I'm told that cars make this app and other phone apps available on the car display. We are not far from navigation systems being a modern day 8 track tape player in our trucks.

Yeah I saw those but I was hesitant to order because none of my 3 local dealers had them in stock yet. I thought it was a little sketchy that they were available on ebay already. Probably are OK, but I didn't want to take the chance.

Has anyone with Sync 3 seen any evidence of a map update? On Sync 3, there is no card, it gets updated via WiFi in theory. I did update my Sync 3 to 2.3 software version, but if the maps changed it didn't say. Neat thing about V2.3 vs V2.2 is all the same bugs seem to be there, so that's good

I use my phone for navigation and the truck nav for showing the general area and streets. Basically both at the same time in concert.
