Battery over charged
My 66 f-250 has the alt light on and I read 16.4 volts at the battery. Any one that could help me figure this out I would appreciate it. I think the alt is over charging but why? .

Voltage regulator. Could be lifted ground on the regulator I guess. Need to fix soon or battery will be ruined, blown bulbs etc.
