V10: Out of my league
#17
Two other question on the 2V-V10.
1) Does it have a convenient Shrader valve somewhere on the fuel rail? I was able to take advantage of this on my 1992 4.0 V6 to do a fuel system cleaning while the engine was running. If I can find something similar on the V-10 I might be able to borrow the same shop tool that worked well before..
2) Lots of threads out there about using the latest replacement plugs and coils from Motorcraft.. The dealer however told me the only plug and coil they recommend for the 2006 V10 are still the original ones that came with the engine. Is this true or are there some updated parts I should be using?. Can anyone confirm the right part numbers?
Thanks

Part B: Denso makes the coils and boots for Ford, it is literally the factory part. Can be found pretty cheap on Amazon or RockAuto. As for the plugs, Motorcraft seems to run best.

Amen. Truth. I bought Denso coils and peeled the sticker off and the Ford part number was underneath it.
