Worried!

Hello new to this forum recently purchased my 3rd Ford truck in 4years now own a 2017 250 diesel hold over new . I’ve put 2000 miles on it present odometer reads 2200. Bought this to tow my newly purchased 5th wheel . Unfortunately my truck sits in my driveway for 8days waiting for a new nox sensor and we are canceling our camping for now ! Any similar issues with these sensors ?

no, they have all been pretty reliable.

Even the EGT sensors have gotten better.

Sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Strange that Ford can't get this part to your dealer. I wouldn't think it's exclusive to your year truck.. Most of the time they dont change things like this year to year.

So I let my truck sit a couple days and just started it to move it and now no service light at all . I think I will still have them replace the sensor anyway .

Mine showed cel with nox sensor code at 1200 miles. They ended up having to replace the wiring harness. Corroded pins in the connectors. Took weeks for all the parts to arrive. Drove fine while I waited.
