Battery Cable Removal

The drivers side positive battery post and clamp has corroded, and I would like to remove the cable to clean that puppy. Can I use a jumper cable from the other battery positive post to the driver side cable so that I don't loose power to the computer during removal ?? Thanks in advance.

You can just remove it. The other battery will still provide power to the truck electronics.

Just make sure you do not allow the driver's side cable ground to the chassis as it will still have 12vdc on it.

If you need to remove the battery, I used a bungee cord to suspend the positive cable on either side to the hood so neither will ground out.

For what it's worth, the owner's manual does address this and says what djousma posted.
