Multifunction switch connector

Looking for ideas on how to keep this together. Connector for the turn signal switch. I really don't want to splice in a new connector pigtail or glue it.

Have you tried a zip tie that went under the wires on the gray connector and over the black part which will be held in place by the cover a bit?

Maybe take the two mounting screws at the top of the black piece and put a ring terminal in there and use that as tie downs for the zip tie around the gray connector?

I had the same thing happen on my MFS connector when I was checking for the chafed OD wire. Broke off the retaining clip. I plugged it back in and just let it ride. Been almost a year now with no problems. If I ever have connectivity issues I’ll revisit a proper solution.

Haven't tried anything yet. Just pulled it apart before leaving for work. Turn signals quit working last weekend on my way home from the races. Replaced flasher first then found this. If you tilt the wheel a few times it works itself loose .

You could get a new pigtail and just swap out the block. The wires come out pretty easy with something like a dental pick. Apparently that's a pretty common problem because my DD's was glued in place. Part number for the pigtail is 3U2Z-14S411-YNA
