Sealing it up with like a rtv or something mine has line-x so should be ok right. I also have a cover on it so it’s just keeping dust out what do you think

I don't suggest using silicone sealant if you have Line-X. It doesn't stick too well. Look in the caulking isle for a Urethane caulking. Line-X is a type of urethane and urethane caulking sticks much better. Ask me how I know.
