I own a 2015 Ford f150 4x4 I just wanted to be sure before I change my transfer case oil that I have Electronic shift on the fly v/s Torque on demand the reason I ask is ford uses different oils for both mine has a **** with 2H and 4H and 4L. Can anyone help me with this.

 

You have electronic shift on the fly if your 4x4 doesn't turn on automatically when you're on a slippery surface.

 

He would have a "4A" position on the **** if he had the "torque on demand" system.

 

Also, 4A is standard on Lariat and above. Not available on XLT, STX or XL, even as an option.

 

Thank you Sir's yes that clears it up I have the XL version and I am about to change the Rear, Front Axle oils along with the transfer case oil.
