MAP Sensor recommendations?
I need to order a new map sensor. Is it better to go oem or is there a better brand? Any recommendations on who to order it from? Thanks everyone!!

That tee-shirt is in my collection - OEM. I have big boost, so I installed an OCR from Riffraff Diesel to protect my new MAP sensor.

OEM only for sensors. If OEM is not available, do what you need to in order to get back on the road and get OEM very soon.

Also, get some sort of protection for the MAP sensor. RiffRaff has my favorite method which is what Tugly mentioned.

ok thanks guys!! how bad is it to drive with map sensor unplugged? need my truck but can't get sensor until mid next week!

It won't hurt anything, it just leaves your truck a bit gutless.
