Hello, been reading for a while, good info on site. I'll admit I'm a bowtie guy but acquired an old F-250 in a deal.
5.8 EFI, 136K Truck was running but no power under load. Usual tune-up stuff done. Plugs, wires, etc. Spark and fuel seem good.
Pulled upper intake to test injectors, most were pretty clogged and a couple completely stopped up. I wanted to test the leads before I got new injectors so put a NOID light on them. What happens is the light blinks bright for 5-6 times then gets dimmer, but still blinks. Obviously the TPS, IAC valve, EGR, fuel pump, etc. are not hooked up.
Is this something to worry about? 12.26 volts on the constant of all leads.
