how to test an injector?
how do i test an injector. i know you can test it with a noid light to see if its got electricity but is there a way to test if its squirting fuel? my cylinder 8 has spark. il take the plug wire off and it will run the same. i need help quick.

Definitely NOT recommended and may not even be possible with ford but with bosch injection, we'd pull the injector rail out, aim them at on old towel, an pull up on the air plate that feeds fuel to the injectors.
If they all sprayed the same, we'd put them back in.
If some sprayed and some squirted, well, then we'd clean them in a hand crank pressure cleaner made for them.

the only real way to test if theyre working properly is to put them on a flow bench, but if its only one youre questioning, take it out, and hook up some voltage, the spray should be a nice even ionization of fuel
