OK - I gotta jump in here. I have been struggling to get my extended license key to load, with no joy. I have followed the nice tutorials on the Forscan site, but I do not get the same results when I go to load the key into the program, when clicking the "Load License key" button. Nothing I try works, but the Forscan file shows up.
I have posted my problem on the Forscan forum; however their method does not work.
ANYONE else have this problem, or is it just me ?? I have watched videos, I have read along using the example on the forum- my computer does not let me open the file- I know, you do not have to open it, but it will not do anything else but say Windows cannot open this file.
Anyone else????

Thank you very much! I got my trailer brake control working in about 1 minute!
I am saving this method for the extension on the extended file later after it needs an extension..........

Bummer - too bad, as I see it works in , for example, a 2013 Focus, so, why did they cut us out of the loop????

Trucks always get the tech last. When people buy cars they are looking for luxury and there are a lot more options out there. When people buy trucks they are, generally, looking to tow/haul things and there are only 4-5 options for trucks. If people stopped buying them and demanded the latest tech (although it is getting better with the recent gen trucks and tech) than they would add it, but if someone is willing to spend $40-$50k with old tech, why put the new stuff in it right away? If they delay then that person that spent $40-$50k will want to upgrade sooner so now they made more money.
