i just did this upgrade today. They fit nice on the glow plugs but I suggest taking apart the old harness and rerouting the wires/new harness. Takes time but it’s worth it
I want to do the 6.9 to 7.3 style GP upgrade also. Have the Plugs, GP Controller and 6.0 Harness.
When I do, I`ll replace the Injectors, IP Pump and Dura Lift Electric lift pump, new Hard Lines, & R&D Fuel Rail.
Waiting on the new R&D pump to get here, then only the Rails and hard lines to order.
Then I tear into the engine compartment one time.

Where did you install the new 7.3 Solid state Controller? Stock it was at the rear of the engine,
With a Turbo, then it is on the Pass side Valve Cover mounted to a bracket.
I was thinking of installing where the 6.9 GP relay lives. Don`t see why it couldn`t be mounted there.
There is that round plastic vacuum ball thing that could be relocated along with that other vacuum thingy
with the wires and vac line. That would clean up that crowded area.
