2015 F150 tailgate compatibility

2015 F150 tailgate compatibility
I have a 2015 F150 4Door 4x4 and want to change the tailgate to the earlier 2014 tailgate that is flatter across the surface. Does anyone know if this is even possible and if so how hard would it be to convert? Or would it fit?

I have no idea personally, but I'm going to bet that it's a no-go. Partly because the 2014 is all steel (or mostly steel) and the 2015 is the first year of the aluminum body, along with a body re-design. If you know someone with a 2014, I would take some measurements. If even one dimension is off by more than 1/8 inch, you will confirm that it won't be possible. At least not possible without a really good body mechanic.

Nope. Different beds totally. Not even the gate width and height are the same. If it bothers you that much, maybe you can find a custom body shop, but the price to do a Kindig conversion will make your eyeballs fly out. Wear safety glasses when shopping.
