Superduty v code vs obs springs

Hey guys, I have a question about the superduty v code conversion. I want to lower this old truck 2 or 3 inches and I'm going to build sliders for the rear of the spring but while I have it apart I figure I should swap over to the v code. My question are 1. Do these raise lower or keep the same height as my current springs? 2. Do they ride better because it' a lower spring rate? Or just the extra length is what does it. 3. Is there a change in caster between jbs and the superduty if the mounting points are at the location?

I believe the v code spring is longer and has a softer spring rate but the same capacity. So it has a smoother ride. Best to build a custom shackle for your RSK and relocate your front spring hole by the amount different in shackles. There are some reasons behind this but not sure that it matters. The change just needs to be the same at the forward eye and trailing spring eye.
