Ive searched for the part numbers with no success. I need to replace the two lines going from the transmission to the external filter and the one line going from the drivers side of the radiator to the trans cooler due to rust.
Does anyone have part numbers for these?
i think most people just get the replacement lines from like autozone or somewhere like that... with your year youll have the quick disconnects on rad side..
I have these numbers that might get you started in a search. I didn't document the specifics very well though. good luck w/ searching. post up what you end up with!
Funny this thread came up, I'm doing the engine in my brother's truck that is a rusty mess and it needs tranny lines badly. I wonder if the part numbers are the same for the 5.4 trans?
Got the old ones out and the new ones in. That a tight fit! I was able to feed the new ones in from the front after getting the drag link out of the was.
I ended up breaking the bracket under the pan off.
I didn't take note of which line goes where on the filter housing.
Anyone know which port the shorter line goes to?
I finally found a diagram on the Google. Shorter line in on left of the filter. Longer to the right.
I'm glad that's over with. Was not fun.
For anyone thinking of doing this. Buy the metal tool for the quick connect fittings. That little plastic one just wouldn't do it for the rusted fittings.
