I have a 2018 King Ranch. It has 3 KR "chrome" emblems, one on each side and one on the tailgate. I was thinking about removing them for a "cleaner "look. Do they have holes underneath? Same for the "F-150" emblems on front quarter panel. I don't want anything on the body, just the paint. The ecoboost emblem was glued on and the 4X4 decals were just decals all of which were quite easily removed. I don't know about the KR not the F-150 badges. I suppose I could just take one off and find out, but thought I would ask the forum members first.
Thank you in advance.
In that case they will stay put. They aren't really that obtrusive anyway.
I think the KR badges have no holes. I will probably take them off. I can always put them back on later if I want to.
If you have the big panel on the tailgate, there's a bunch of holes under it. If you don't have that panel, then there are no holes under the emblems. And like Scott said, the fender emblems have locator holes under them.
Ok, I saw a KR today I didn't realize they had the F150 badge on the upper fender and the KR badge as well. I can't honestly say with 100% accuracy there are not holes but I wouldn't think there is because of the extra tooling it would take to punch them only on certain doors.
Thanks folks. I took off the badge on the tailgate-no holes. I took at least 30 minutes to get all that glue off. It is serious sticky.
I like it better, but I think I will leave the ones on the door intact, at least for now.
I am happy with what I have.
