I'm trying to help a friend out. He's in need of the hose that connects the air cleaner to the air intake duct through the core support. We tried DC and LMC, they don't have one. Want a real nice one. Any ideas on who or where to look for it ? Thanks !!!!

What year is the truck, what size is the V8 engine?
this one has a square duct on the intake side probably 76 and earlier, the round version can be easier to find the flex duct for. You might be able to source the flex duct from parts stores. https://www.ebay.com/itm/73-79-FORD-...MAAOSwwcda48-p
Some early models like 73 have a block off plate with screw in the core support that can be removed for use of the duct. The plastic duct should fit no matter what engine you have. 78 and 79 ducts were different than 77 and earlier by shape of elbow but they all work the same so unless you want it to be year correct don't worry. I think the 77 one is a bit tougher than the 78 79. The first link is a 77 and earlier version. Just watch ebay they pop up occasionally.

D8TZ-9C675-B Ford didn't sell just the hose. The only way Ford sold it was with the plastic snorkel that bolts to the radiator support.
I couldn't find any obsolete suppliers that had one and a quick check of E-bay didn't show any there either.

Snorkel tube
Beartracks is correct; I reshaped one rectangular end and it fits over the round end. My issue is the snorkel end of my air cleaner is too big to properly fit the other rectangular end onto it. have it tucked up to the snorkel end versus over the snorkel as it should be.
