Headlight replacement - OEM aftermarket recommendations
After 10+ years and over 260K miles its time to replace my '08 Expy headlight assemblies. Several companies out there that supply but am concerned with quality and cost. With quality my issue is ensuring they are sealed well to prevent moisture buildup. Cost wise I see pairs from $175 to over $500!. Any ratings you might find are either non-existent or not informative. What say you? What manufacturers to look at and which to stay away from?

I'm not talking about the light bulbs. I'm referencing the headlight assembly. After 10 years and 260K miles they are pitted, fadded and simply look dull. Time to replace. As my original post indicated I am looking for suggestions and feedback on what manufacturer have good reputation. Worried about leaks and fit/finish.

Good question. I had recently asked the local O'Reilly Auto Parts about replacing my 2014 Expy headlamp assemblies for the same reason, pitted, faded and low light output. They quoted me a replacement set for about $385 but I didn't catch the brand since I haven't replaced them yet.

I tried an aftermarket headlight assembly and ended up returning it due to poor quality in the bulb fitting.
Ended up buying them from my Ford Dealer and they make the truck look much better.
it was worth the price of approx. $700 for the pair for a clean look.
