Good thought. Mine is the crew cab. Not sure if there is any difference between crew and extended in regards to fuel tank. The tank Titan lists on their site specifically says crew cab.

Transferflow makes a skid plate for the tank just like the factory. I love being able to go so far between fill ups
Zman, I have the Transferflow tank too and it bothers me not having it protected because it seems so vulnerable when off roading. I didn’t know they had a skid plate for their tank. When did they start offering this and do you have it? If you do, I’d love to see some photos of it. I’m wondering how much lower it will hang down to their already low hanging tank.
