BARO is fine. Mark - If he's seeing sync then the PCM is reading cam and crank sensors fine, right? So maybe the RPM oddity is part of Forscan and not part of his issue, IDK how Forscan works.
That is how I interpreted it Bryan. Even though I have Forscan and like it better than the others I have, I haven't really "learned" it. I need a laptop!
Mark, a laptop with Forscan is the bomb, at least compared to my Android.
The phone is sure handy for quick checks and live data, but the format kind of stinks compared to the laptop
Dumb question, but is this positional related? That's why I think I have a rail plug problem; nose up doesn't end up with a long crank for me, just when it's parked flat.

Have you tried pulling the ICP to check oil level in the rail after sitting overnight on flat ground?
No sir, just pull the plug off the sensor. It's on the passenger side valve cover right next to the glow plug module.
Lucky for you the truck is an 04 in this instance, on the 03 the sensor sits under the turbo
Don’t lose the little white plastic “basket” that sits inside the plug. That causes odd problems. I’m with bismic, I’ve not seen you state year model truck.
I thought read earlier where he has an early 04??? Could be wrong though.
Shoot, if that is the case then my bad. I though it depended only the MY. I was going according to the 2004 coffee book and memory.
Note to self, never assume !@#$ when dealing with an 04. Ridiculous.
