BPD is way over priced,R and D or not just way too much money. Allient for the win.

Mark (Bismic), do you have any info in your records if Airtex continued to be the supplier of the water pump in the 6.0L?

Airtex is around $50 while Motorcraft is around $125 for the 100mm pumps, no core with either.

From my looking around at different sites, if you have a remaned motor and not sure what waterpump/front cover you have and don’t have the front cover casting numbers to sort out, at least on the Airtex/Motorcraft pumps the 90mm pump has only four threaded holes in the pulley flange. The 100mm pump has the four threaded holes and four lightening holes. That may hold true on the aftermarket suppliers that private label their stock from the source.

I'll look. I know I had some information on it because I have information (limited) on the rated flow.

Thank you everyone for your input I ordered the BPD one last night paid for two day shipping wanted to get it done on my day off, got a phone call this morning from them and they informed me that the two day shipping wasn't necessary because I live one state over from them and regular shipping would put it at my door Saturday, big thanks to BPD stand up company!

Dude, How do you like the 7.3L Fan Clutch? I've been thinking about that lately. I tow my 12K toyhauler all over AZ.
From Bisbee, to the N.Rim, and Alpine to Lake Havasu. Anything that can help keep my temperatures down, would be a welcome addition.

Riverstroker04, I doubt you will be disappointed in your decision. BPD has been very good to me and my truck.

Youll love the 7.3 clutch, i put one on all my trucks and never a problem, colder ac,cooler towing temps, nationwide warranty from any big box store even weekends,no diff in sound from the elec clutch, cheaper, lighter, very first mod i do to every truck and these trucks tow for a living and very heavy sometimes, single best mod i ever made hands down. Started doing this when the adapter first come out to convert to the 7.3 clutch, never had one clutch go bad yet.

I'm sorry AGE, that's an oem clutch for a 6.0 not the 7.3 mode. Thought about it when purchasing tho. Can't remember why I decided against it.

Thanks AGE, BPD has been great to work with this is the secound time getting part from them. I was thinking about getting the 7.3 fan clutch also but I haven't had any problems with temp yet. I live in Needles not too far from Havasu, summer temp are a killer!

If noise from the fan bothers you it might make you crazy. I know someone that put solid fan clutch from BPD on his truck and hes pulling it off and going with a manual switch to control stock clutch himself. If noise is no problem its a good thing if you tow heavy. The A/C is also enhanced by the upgrade with colder air in the cab.

Its a preference thing I am beginning to think. My truck has it so easy that I don't need it, but I like the colder A/C talk. You cant do better then the BPD waterpump thats for sure.
Good Luck with it.....

If you dont tow heavy youll prob never even hear the 7.3 fan untill you stop a few mins and take off with ac on,but when locked its no diff than the elec clutch, comes on a min or two and it will just fade out again, if i didnt have a flatbed hooked all the time id prob never even hear mine, also they made 3 diff clutches for the 7.3.
