Holley Carb Trouble
I have a 650 cfm holley carb on my 1984 351 w, and now it is having serious problems, when i stomp on the gas pedal the truck seems to cut out and it has lost power.

If the choke is closing up it could be flooding. If the electric choke heater (I'm assuming) has gone south, the only thing holding the choke open would be the choke pull-off. Then, when you open the throttle and the vacuum drops off, the choke will close.
Or, maybe the fuel filter is partially plugged and can't supply enough fuel for the demand when you get after it.
Another possibility is slow ignition (or cam) timing.

Thanx for the help I have fixed the problem it was indeed the ignition timing, it wasn't advanced enough. but now my carb hesitates when i punch the gas off the line
