wondering what you guys are using for tail/brake light bulbs in LED... lots of claims on the internet... tell me the good/bad/ugly/wonderful experience you've had...

The regular bulbs that came with my taillights are very bright and one would think the brakes were on until you actually put the brakes on and are super bright....
I used the LED replacement lenses on my 48. They are much brighter than the original style glass lenses were. They sell them for both the keystone style light and the bonus built round lights, with LED license late lights.

This is a daytime picture that shows brake/turn, tail (Bright Light bulbs) and LED backup lights. Much brighter at night. I still plan to install a third brake light.
