head lights

I own a 1999 f150 sport,

I want to put in cool blue light bulbs! Well I went out and got some and turned them on!

Well the drivers side light is dim while the passanger light is bright like the cool blue lights should be!

I took the lights bak and got different ones, but still the same thing happened!

When i have the regular factory light bulbs they work fine, both sides are light up equally!

Does anyone know whats causing the drivers side bulb to go dim?

Please help!

Thanks kman

With the headlights on and both bulbs plugged in normally, check the voltage across each bulb. If it's the same, then the bulbs are different or you have a bad socket. Also, make sure both are fully installed into the headlight housing.
